BBVA Compass is the first U.S.-based financial institution to announce the development of a native application for the BlackBerry PlayBook and is one of just a handful of financial institutions with a native application for BlackBerry® smartphones. The BlackBerry PlayBook application joins a stable of native mobile banking applications offered by the bank, including those for the aforementioned BlackBerry smartphones, as well as iPad® and iPhone® mobile digital devices, and the Android(TM) mobile technology platform.
